Fashionista and I were discussing bicycles a while back. I’m not sure what she ended up getting, but I decided to share this bicycle company with you, in case you wanted to go the action route for Christmas (and so far the gift guide has been pretty female-centric).
Enter, Linus Bikes. The Dutch is probably my favorite style. It doesn’t appear you can order them online, but you can locate a dealer near you.
The charity of the day is the National Wildlife Federation. They are trying to raise $750,000 by December 31. Help out their Countdown for Wildlife Campaign today!

I love antique stores.
Everywhere I travel I make a point of stopping in anywhere with an antique sign. When my mom and I drove cross country a year and a half ago, we stopped in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It was there that I fell in love with a small gem of a store called Made. I wanted to walk out with several pieces of furniture, but every inch of the car was already stuffed so I knew I could only drool over their pieces and hope to return someday.
Well, lucky for all of us they have a website! Check out the stuff at Made and I don’t doubt you’ll find it as ever charming as I did.
The charity I’m recommending today is Pilots n Paws. I recently discovered them and it almost makes me want to learn how to fly. From their website: Working with rescue groups across the country, pilots donate their time, their planes, and their fuel, to transport animals to places where they will be adopted. Amazing stuff.
